BUTTERMILK CHIVE BISCUITS
				                                                                           makes 12
                         
                             I’m a self confessed chive freak, i put them in everything from omelets to corn fritters!
                                          
2 cups flour sifted	
				5 T unsalted butter cubed
1 cup buttermilk
					1 T baking powder
1/2 cup minced chives	
			1/2 t salt

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Sift the flour together with the baking powder and salt. Using a pastry blender or a fork add the butter blending into very fine particles. Add the buttermilk and chives  and combine till the dough comes together.
Turn out onto a flour surface and knead for about 30 seconds. Pat or roll out to a 3/4 inch thick round. Dip biscuit cutter into flour and cut into rounds or shapes and place on an non - greased cookie sheet.
For crispier biscuits place farther apart on cookie sheet. For fluffier-place closer together. Bake for 13-16 minutes until golden brown.
